Just an update on how we are doing in the new space. Last weekend we went to ikea in Woodbridge, VA, and bought a good bit of their BRODER storage system. I’ve been modifying this, along with their PRONOMEN countertops in order to made work and storage space. The new Heidelberg press has been behaving well, but I will certainly be more comfortable in the new space once our storage issues are taken care of. Right now I’m gluing up red oak for shelving, woo!

A friend of mine on twitter informed me that today is Spouse 2.0 day!
Oslo Press has been up and running for a little over four months now. During that time Jen has handled all customer service and sales, almost all the design, and a good bit of internal development (contracts, marketing, etc.).
In addition to that she was the primary organizer of both our house purchase, and our move into said house. While I was busy producing orders she took care of the kind of paperwork that normally puts me in mental fits.
On top of it all, we have both kept our other jobs. Her job is full time (mine is not) and requires her to be away for entire weekends at least twice a month.
And still; dinner gets made, Christmas decorations go up, the house is clean, pets are taken care of.
I just wanted to use this opportunity as an excuse to shout from the rooftop that my wife is awesome!

We’ve been featured again, this time on the blog of local design firm Gamil Design. Check out what they had to say about us, and also their awesome tea stick!
